In 2021, together with my colleague Eng. Arch.Ondřej Bělica created the interior design of the chemotherapy inpatient unit at the Masaryk Oncology Institute. Assignment of the director of the institute, Mr. Prof. MD Marek Svoboda was: to create a cultural environment in which patients  arriving regularly, they felt a little more civil in critical life situations.

The output of our intervention within the hospital is the floors and doors on which graphic motifs depicting the flow of the river appear, bringing life inside from the elevators and the main hall to the interior of the department itself. In various places, this current is then transformed into growth motifs and thus creates a kind of non-arbitrary orientation system in the entire department. This can also be perceived as a picture with different views and corners.

The interior of the stationary was also supplemented with a curated selection of paintings by students of the Brno FAVU and color solutions for individual application rooms in cooperation with

MgA. Maria Štindlová.

The entire project was implemented under the auspices of doc. Milan Houser and FAVU VUT.
